Vietnam in a shoestring: A stroll through the ancient town of Hoi An

Hoi An is an ancient town located in the lower section of Thu Bon River, Quang Nam Province, about 30 kilometers south of Da Nang city. Its a 3 hours trip from Hue and 45 mins from Da Nang.

Most of the buildings and houses in Hoi An reflects the architectural influence of chinese, japanese, portuguese, french and british traders.

Its only a small town where you can stroll for one whole day. It is also a best place to shop if you like made to order suits and leather good. Just don't forget to haggle for a better knock off price =)

Vietnam in a shoestring: an overnight stay in the imperial cityof Hue

Hue, Vietnam

After a long hours in a sleepers bus, its a really nice to stretch your numbing back and legs from sleeping. Seeing the beautiful green scenery of the imperial city and the glimpse of sun's ray peaking in my window makes me feel nostalgia, back in the old days when my family and i used to visit my grandparents in Lucban, Quezon.

Hue is a place where you can experience the slow-paced and leisurely life as well as travel to attractions with exquisite landscapes--- from the grungy to grandiose and from rustic to modern era.


Hmmm....Life is really beautiful =).
